Welcome to Pixie Tree Studio blog!

I am an art teacher, an artist and illustrator ...and I still keep myself busy with what I have done for the past 20+ years, production and project management.

I am inspired by simple everyday objects, my surroundings, people, animals, flowers, and trees. I am working more on drawing from my personal visualizations and my imagination. My artwork is created using pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, water-based paints, collage/mixed media, and/or printmaking. I continue to explore and experiment with a variety of mediums and techniques and am always looking for ways to grow in my art journey.

I also feature here select works of art by my special needs students who are 18 - 22 years old. I am so proud of their dedication and hard work. Check out their wonderful artwork.
